I began hand-coding (HTML) websites nine years ago for non-profit art organizations as a service provided by our business incubator.

After moving into private industry, I expanded my knowledge and skill base while working with an incredible group of foreward-thinking developers and was delighted to find developing professional websites was a perfect marriage of my technical and artistic skills.

• I am quite comfortable in front of people and have the ability to create a rapport with clients with ease. My experience in improv comedy and teaching a wide variety of workshops and classes with students of all ages and backgrounds has given me great opportunity to hone my skills of presentation and communication while making people comfortable and presenting the product with integrity.
  
  
• I have extensive knowledge of the W3C Usability and Accessibility Standards. I participated in the 2001 Austin Internet Rally (AIR). The team with whom I worked took first place with a new site for Keep Austin Beautiful. I advocate the audience needs and expectations while serving my client's business goals.
  
  
• I have experience producing sites to satisfy the Texas Department of Information Resources' (DIR) new standards for web publication.
